Manage a Team of CP Chairs and Develop Strength Based Approach

A high performing London based Local Authority is looking for an experienced Social Work Manager to help lead their team of CP Chairs as well as continuing the development of the Strength-Based conference Model

Highlights:

  • Will be managing a very stable team of CP Chairs, most of which are employed on a permanent basis
  • Work with the Senior management team to continue the development of the Strength-Based conference Model
  • High performing Local Authority which achieved Good during its last inspection
  • The Local Authority have implemented a system to improve information sharing between a range of services such as childrens, adults, housing and health
  • This post offers a high degree of autonomy where you will have the opportunity to manage your own diary
  • Will be joining an established team so there will be minimal required in terms of recruitment and filling vacancies so you can just get on with the implementation of the new model.

    • This is an exciting opportunity who have a background in Safeguarding to take on a more strategic role where you will be joining an established team and continuing to develop an innovative new model which aims to improve outcomes for Children. As the team is already up and running and members are able to work independently there will be little you will need to do in regards to recruitment and performance management, which will give you time to focus on the implementation of the new model.

    You will be supported b the manager who is a very experienced Social Worker and long standing member of the Local Authorities Senior Leadership team. You will be encouraged to use your creativity and ideas to help develop the service and wider service areas

    To be considered for this post you should have extensive management experience ideally within Safeguarding.
