My client is a global leader looking for a professional to join their team either in the USA or Belgium.

For their Infectious Diseases Therapeutic Area, they are looking for an experienced Scientist to lead a team focusing on the discovery and clinical development of novel biomarkers for viral hepatitis B disease. Are you going to become their next Director of R&D?

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Scientists for the discovery of prognostic and predictive Biomarkers in the context of HBV disease.
  • Advance the candidates throughout the different stages of Clinical Development.
  • Drive data analysis and interpretation on high-dimensional data from NGS, FACS, CyTOF, IHC/ISH, and single-cell approaches.

Who do they look for?

  • Ph.D., MD, or Ph.D./MD in translational sciences.
  • 10+ years of industrial experience in biomarkers research in Hepatitis, Immunology, Infectious Diseases, or Immuno-Oncology.
  • Demonstrated experience in Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Cellular Profiling, and Single-Cell approaches.
  • Good knowledge of Clinical Development programs and studies.
