NonStop Care is looking for a Registered Manager to join the team of a new Residential Home for children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural disabilities.

The organisation currently operates a number of homes across East London and are expanding their range of services to include residential Children homes, and need a Registered Manager to oversee the new home they are opening in the Romford area.

This is a great opportunity to join a child focused organisation, who are committed to improving the outcomes of their service users, where you will also have the opportunity to grow alongside the service.

Responsibilities:

The Registered Manager will oversee the home for the young people, by building relationships and working to support them to grow their confidence and build their self-esteem. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home and staff team, as well as various administrative tasks and record keeping. You will also be accountable for the regulatory performance of the home.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Children's Residential Services in a Deputy or Registered manager role
  • Level 5 in management for children's services or equivalent
  • Experience in dealing with Emotional and Behavioural Disabilities
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of OFSTED requirements and safeguarding practices
  • To be ambitious for children, young people and families.
  • Be able to meet the requirements for registration with Ofsted.
