IT Security Specialist - product development in the medical sector!

Our client is a globally renowned medical equipment manufacturer established 1945; based out of Germany that has over 8000 employees in over 40 countries. They develop, manufacture, and sells all their products independently and is known for their designs and precise workmanship, and clinical effectiveness.

At the moment they are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to work with the product managers, engineers and testers to support system designs, cyber security requirements strategies, treat and vulnerability scanning for the product development in the medical sector.

They invest heavily on their employees in terms of training and development.

Your Tasks:

  • Advising and supporting both internal and external; development teams in creating the requirements, risks assessments, and IT security compliance.
  • Participate in the creation and review of system architectures, related to security relevant aspects.
  • Support in the implementation of cybersecurity for both hardware and software.
  • Working closely with the colleagues from the team in the creation of the cyber security risk analysis, continuous monitoring and evaluation of weak points and planning of cyber security patches.
  • Conducting and raising awareness and trainings about security issues in product development.
  • Supporting the creation and execution of relevant tests.
  • Planning and executing internal and external penetration tests.

Your Profile:

  • You have atleast 3 years of professional penetration testing experience.
  • You understand network protocols.
  • You ideally come from a strong background in software engineering.
  • You are a team player.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German (atleast B2) and fluent English.

Salary: € 65,000 to € 95,000 Brutto per year
