Quality Management Expert

I am currently working with a globally operating company producing speciality chemicals such as tanning agents, dye-stuffs and finishing products for the leather industry.

My client is looking for a talented professional to join their small team of global experts as a Quality Management Expert, responsible for implementing integrated management systems following ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

The scope of the position includes managing potential non-conformities and claims related to their manufacturing and production site in Leverkusen, Germany, where you will be based.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in the definition of the QHSE policy and ensure its implementation
• Implement the integrated management system and oversee certification according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
• Ensure the sustainability of the system to guarantee continuous re-certification
• Act as an internal auditor
• Detect and record non-conformities and manage potential claims
• Ensure that corrective actions are taken
• Co-ordinate interdepartmental communication
• Act as a key user for the quality module of the operational database (SAP)
• Manage quality related data in operational database

You must have:

• Education in Chemistry
• Good knowledge of ISO norms 9001, 14001 and optionally 45001
• 1-2 years practical expertise of working with quality management systems in the chemical industry
• High degree of computer literacy
• Strong analytical skills
• English & German language skills on a business-level
