Job Details
Nonstop Care is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Manager to oversee a four bedded Children's home with a Good Ofsted in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with an organisation who has developed a unique induction and personal development programme for each successful individual employee.
The organisation has a tailored training package designed which also includes access to vocational qualifications to ensure effective performance and development.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skills
- Make sure all the plans for the young people are in place and of good quality.
- Manage the service that meets all the requirements of the organisation and the regulatory body's expectations of a good, outstanding or equivalent service through robust planning, review and monitoring of the policy practice and procedure throughout the service.
- Provide direct care and support to the service users as required
- Have knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting
- Be able to develop a staff team to ensure they have clear vision and goals
- Good working knowledge of Children's homes regulations and Ofsted

- Competitive Salary up to £48k per annum plus up to £6000 per annum bonus (depending on experience)

Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young people
- Have or willing to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have at least two years' experience of working with young people in a Residential Care setting
- DBS and satisfactory references.
- Can demonstrate an extensive knowledge and understanding of all current regulations related to Residential Childcare and has the ability to effectively apply these to the Day-Day running of the home.
