(Senior) Regulatory Consultant

I am currently working with leading international chemical consultancies that are looking to expand their EU REACH division of their regulatory department.

They would like to hire a (senior) chemical regulatory advisor to support their expanded business across global REACH regulations, biocides, food and health care products. As a member of the regulatory science team, you will support clients through regulatory and technical services to meet the requirements for global chemical approvals.

Other tasks:

• You offer regulation-related and technical advice and help with regard to global chemical approvals under REACH, especially EU REACH, UK REACH and KKDIK Turkey, for industry and government institution
• You communicate and cooperate with customers and responsible authorities.
• You are responsible for the preparation and project management of registrations.
• You organise and expand our business activities in the regions of Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
• If necessary, they lead external activities such as training courses, webinars, seminars and meetings of associations.

As such they are looking for someone with at least five years of professional experience in regulatory advisory activities.

Other requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of global chemicals regulations, including EU REACH and GHS (required)
• University degree in a related subject (e.g. (eco) toxicology, chemistry, environmental sciences)
• Good knowledge of the EU Biocide Directive, Cosmetics Regulation, Medical Device Regulation or Regulation on food contact material (desirable)
• Objectivity and quick problem solving
• Strong social skills and the ability to build harmonious relationships with customers
• Resilience with changing workloads and under pressure
• Business acumen
• Independence, independent way of working and initiative
• Excellent oral and written language skills in German and English; additional languages ​​are an advantage

This is a home based position with occasional travel to headquarters.
