Team Leader - Children's Residential - Career Progression

Salary: Up to £26,000

NonStop Care is working with a Children's Residential Service in the West Yorkshire area in order to recruit for an experienced Team Leader for one of their homes.

They are a well established company with a good reputation, and a very supportive senior management team. They also provide excellent training and development opportunities, so you can continue to develop your skills and progress in your career with them.

They are also growing quite quickly, with plans to open several new homes over the coming year, so you will have ample opportunity to move into more senior roles.

Responsibilities:

You will act as the shift lead for a team of support workers in a 4 bedded EBD unit, ensuring that all risks are safely managed and that accurate records are kept of shift events. You will be responsible for for ensuring that all oncoming staff are aware of shift events, as well as working directly with young people to address standards of behaviour and set a good example.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will be someone who has significant experience in a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader role within Children's Residential services. It is essential that you hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent, and that you have a full UK drivers license and access to a vehicle. This role will involve shift work and sleep ins (paid additionally), so you need to be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
