Our lab, hosted by the Department of Biomedicine of Basel University, Switzerland, is currently seeking a research associate for a 6-month project. The role is to analyze neuronal and behavioral data to better understand how the processing and perception of sounds changes during adolescence.
Your position
The project consists of (1) using DeepLabCut to analyze behavioral readouts of adolescent mice exposed to different types of sounds and of (2) developing an analysis strategy to describe how neuronal responses to sounds, recorded with in vivo extracellular recordings, are changing over time.
The successful candidate will interact with experimentalists in our lab, understand their needs and produce a modular and user-friendly matlab program for the analysis of behavioral and neuronal recordings.
Knowledge of matlab is required, and previous experience with neuronal electrophysiological data is a plus.
Application / Contact
Applications should include a cover letter, a CV and references.
