Detailed Description
The Translational Oncology Group is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate / Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join us working in 3D bio-printing to study therapeutic options for women with ovarian cancer. This position is jointly funded by grants from the Cancer Council NSW and the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) to identify new therapies for treatment resistant ovarian cancer and to develop functional assays to align with molecular profiling to predict which therapies women with ovarian cancer are likely to respond to.

Detailed Description
The Translational Oncology Group is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate / Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join us working in 3D bio-printing to study therapeutic options for women with ovarian cancer. This position is jointly funded by grants from the Cancer Council NSW and the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) to identify new therapies for treatment resistant ovarian cancer and to develop functional assays to align with molecular profiling to predict which therapies women with ovarian cancer are likely to respond to.
The successful applicant will have:
- a PhD awarded (or in assessement), preferably in laboratory-based cancer research spanning cell and molecular biology techniques,
- Direct experience in 3D bio-printing is desirable but not essential,
- Extensive cell/tissue culture experience is essential,
- Demonstrated experience supervising students would be advantageous.
