Job Title: Associate Director - Research for Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation Location: Atlanta, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 224516 Location This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia on the Geogia Institute of Technology main campus.Job Summary The Associate Director - Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation provides leadership and oversight of CIDI's wide range of research initiatives.* Provide resarch leadership to CIDI, embracing the organization's range of ongoing activities, and providing a coherent vision for research.* Promote excellence across all of the center's research activities in support of the missions of the College of Design and Georgia Tech.* Ensure that the research development of CIDI's goals, objectives, strategies, performance indicators and targets is aligned with, and will contribute to, the success of the College of Design and Georgia Tech.* Augment the profile of CIDI research through representation, engagement and the development of strong linkages with professional communities and other groups relevant to CIDI's activities.* Enhance the reputation of CIDI, the College of Design and Georgia Tech by completing quality research and communicating the outcomes of that research to the appropriate professional communities and society.* Encourage, advocate and actively participate in research fundraising and governmental affairs to support and strengthen CIDI's mission-critical activities.Required Qualifications Education: * A graduate degree compatible with providing leadership in a Center having a complex mission of research, education, and service.Experience: * At least eight to ten years in leadership/management of highly successful medium to large organizations* A successful track record of academic research leadership and team building* Demonstrated ability to identify, create and articulate a coherent vision for research organizations with complex missions* A well-developed understanding of the priorities, operation, and strategy of successful research programs* Experience in cross-disciplinary research initiatives and collaborationApply Before Date *Application Process:*Application materials are accepted at* *firstname.lastname@example.org.
