Would you like to join a ground-breaking international project working with developing countries in Africa?

Do you want the opportunity to run international meetings in South Africa?
As Project Manager you will oversee day-to-day management of the Development in Africa with Radio Astronomy ( DARA ) Project. You will be responsible for co-ordinating activities with academics and stakeholders in the UK and overseas. You will be a member of the Management Team and Steering Committee responsible for delivering the programme of work and will work across the local and international partner institutes.
DARA aims to develop high tech skills using radio astronomy in a number of African countries. Radio astronomy encompasses all of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills that underpin the emergence of a strong developed economy. The project has a remaining budget of over £1M that you will be responsible for managing and monitoring non-scientific aspects of the project.
