Located at the Women's and Children's Hospital, the Lifelong Health Research Group strives to ensure that care for women and their infants is effective, and that treatment benefits outweigh harms. The Group has led a randomised trial involving pregnant women with overweight or obesity, investigating a dietary and lifestyle intervention to reduce the rise of adverse pregnancy outcomes.

We are seeking a Research Officer with experience in the recruitment of study participants to provide research, technical and administrative support to our researchers to ensure smooth and successful performance of research projects.

To be successful you will need:
  • Demonstrated experience in the conduct of clinical research trials and working with human participants.
  • Familiarity with laboratory management and safety procedures.
  • Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to meet deadlines and an ability to prioritise tasks and assignments.


This position requires a valid Working with Children Check.
