We are offering an opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic and organized professional to join the editorial team as Editorial Program Assistant for scholarly journal management and development - and to play crucial role in a key Wiley business.

How you will make an impact:

• You will be responsible for supporting journal publishers in the administration of their programs. This will include a combination of administrative support, marketing and promotion of products, and strategic business planning.

• You will be charged with ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, including communication with scientific researchers, scholarly societies, and other external partners, plus inter- and intradepartmental collaboration.

• Specific responsibilities include conducting project-based research and reporting, maintaining and developing journal promotional web pages and social media campaigns, processing and tracking financial payments, organizing logistics for client meetings, and support of existing business strategic planning and new business development.

• The Editorial Program Assistant role provides excellent opportunities for developing key administrative skills, including management of external vendor and customer relationships, which contribute toward Wiley's global objectives of success in professional publishing.

We are looking for people who have:

• A demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage time independently; able to shift focus quickly.

• An enthusiastic and uncompromisingly professional; eagerness to learn and to be a team player.

• The ability to work quickly, accurately, and diplomatically under pressure; creative problem solver.

• Basic experience with web developer tools social media promotion a plus.

• Polished verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to deadlines a must.

• Bachelor's degree a plus but not required.

• Wiley is a Microsoft Office 365-based workplace and provides training opportunities at all levels, including our proprietary web design tools.
