The role

The University of Bristol is recruiting for an experienced and innovative Deputy Director International and Head of International Student Recruitment to lead the University's international student recruitment activity, and be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating international recruitment and associated marketing strategies.

What will you be doing?

The role will be instrumental in collaborative working, engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders to ensure that the University's international targets are effectively set and delivered, and that the international student recruitment activities are successfully coordinated, implemented, as well as aligned with the University strategy.

The post holder will report directly to the Director International and work closely with a variety of colleagues from the International Office and from the teams forming the External Relations Division. The post holder is also responsible for leadership of the International Student Recruitment team, and managing resources effectively and efficiently, with a view to maintaining quality in our service levels and provision.

You should apply if

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have proven experience in working in a senior role, developing and successfully implementing international student recruitment and marketing strategies. This will include commercial acumen demonstrated through experience in working in a target driven environment, stakeholder management skills and the ability to be a highly proficient communicator. You will have worked previously as a manager in a complex organisation and thrive on change and all its challenges. You will be able to provide strategic leadership, team building and act as a role model in delivering a high-quality service, underpinned by excellent organisational and analytical skills.
