The role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for talented researchers with a keen interest in biomedical/public health research and a systematic and thorough approach to their work. A Research Associate is required to join the multidisciplinary evidence synthesis team at Bristol Medical School. Line managed by Prof Julian Higgins, you will be part of Bristol Appraisal and Review of Research group in the Department of Population Health Science and will work closely with a Senior Research Associate being recruited at the same time.
What will you be doing?
Your work will include a systematic review of studies of interventions to prevent obesity in children, using Cochrane methodology. In addition, you will work on systematic reviews on various other topics, working alongside international leaders in the field of systematic reviews, including the developers of the principal tools for assessing risk of bias in health research. There will be opportunities to contribute also to methodological projects.
