Job Overview: University College Birmingham is recruiting to an exciting new role of Director of Inclusive Curriculum and Higher Education Quality.

This is a senior role, reporting to a Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and working across all of UCB's higher education courses. The post holder will ensure that the curriculum is up-to-date, inclusive, and representative of students from a broad range of backgrounds. They will lead on the implementation of key elements of the new Learning and Teaching Strategy, ensuring that UCB makes rapid progress to close awarding gaps. They will also make significant contributions to UCB's quality monitoring processes, making use of live data, observations and student feedback, working closely with staff and students across the University.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading academic teams to promote an inclusive curriculum, and experience of overseeing quality processes in HE. They will be able to demonstrate their success in embedding inclusive practice in HE teaching, and will have awareness of related best practice in the sector. They will also have strong influencing skills including an ability to lead cultural change.
