We are looking for an HR Service Delivery Manager to join our HR Operations team. This is a new role and an exciting opportunity to help shape HR Service Delivery at the University.

The role

A full-time permanent position, this role will manage the HR Transactions and Recruitment teams, directly managing the Team Leaders.

Providing an essential administrative support service to University staff and managers, these teams deal with large volumes of processing within a complex environment and with a wide range of contractual arrangements.

This role will be accountable for the delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), continuous improvement, and implementation of process changes to meet legislative or policy requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team, continuously improving services, delivering on SLAs, driving consistency and compliance, balanced with the flexibility to meet the varied and complex needs of the customer.

Your HR knowledge and experience will enable you to apply judgement and find solutions for issues that fall outside of standard processes and be able to implement either one-off solutions or longer-term change.

You will be able to demonstrate strong, positive leadership skills and ability to motivate, inspire and develop your people.

What we can offer you

Based at 1 Guildhall Square, in the Cultural district at the heart of Southampton, you will be conveniently located close to the city's amenities, as well as having access to our sports complex and Hartley Library on Highfield Campus. Having secured a £300m bond investment we are committed to investing in the University's future and long-term stability. We offer some fantastic benefits including 44 days leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays and University closure days), options for flexible working, excellent family leave arrangements (including maternity, paternity, adoption, parental and carers leave), a wide variety of on and off-campus arts and culture facilities and access to a range of staff discounts and offers at local shops, restaurants, and service providers.

Interviews will take place on the 17th and 18th May.
