Kelly Science & Clinical has a new direct hire (permanent) opportunity for an Analytical Chemistry Team Lead with a Biopharmaceutical company in Eastern Iowa. Salary will range from $90k - $130k, based on experience, and relocation assistance is provided for highly qualified candidates!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Maintain compliance with DEA and GMP regulations
  • Train staff on analytical techniques and instrumentation
  • Provide guidance to personnel with varying levels of experience and educational backgrounds
  • Develop, establish, and validate analytical testing methods for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
  • Investigate nonconformance and technical issues
  • Provide project leadership with cross-functional departments and participate in the evaluation of new business opportunities

You are an excellent fit if you meet the following qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences (or very closely related discipline)
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience in Method development and Method validation within Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical Industry
  • Hands-on method validation/development experience in at least one of the following instrumentation: HPLC, GC, FTIR, LC-MS, NMR, and/or UV-Vis
  • Expert in compliance requirements such as, but not limited to GMP, Safety, and various Regulatory agencies
  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Experience with Empower 2, highly desired
  • Project Management experience, highly desired
