The role
The Change and Improvement Team is looking for a Change Manager to join its change consultancy service which aims to prepare, equip and support colleagues to successfully adopt change. The change team provides advice, guidance, tools, techniques and training in change management.
What will you be doing?
This is a diverse role which sees the role holder delivering change management advice through weekly change consultancy clinics for leaders, managers and project staff across the University. Change Managers also take on more in-depth consultancy work with areas of the University as required. The provision of insights from clinics and consultancy work helps to build an overview of change impact throughout the University to aid strategic decision making. In addition, the Change Mangers deliver regular skills development workshops in change management as well as creating bespoke sessions where necessary.

Relationship building and an ability to problem solve 'in the moment' to provide tailored advice are key to the role as is an understanding of change management theory, methodology, tools and techniques. The team is relatively newly formed and is therefore in a stage of development in which the right person can help to further shape the service delivery of the team, in particular developing collaboration with the Continuous Improvement arm of the team.
