RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be expected to deliver a complete administrative function to the IT Lab.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Grade 12 as well as a secretarial qualification
  • At least five years' experience in a computer literacy training environment;
  • At least five years' experience in student relations and administration.
  • At least five years' experience with Blackboard


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES):
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office 2019, Windows 10, Internet and e-mail
  • Excellent language, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to function under pressure in a real-time environment
  • Effective time and priority management
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Administrative and secretarial skills;
  • Organisational, Prioritisation and Time Management capabilities


ADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES:
  • Secretarial diploma.
  • Additional qualification in administration or computer literacy
  • At least one years' experience in the use of the UP People Soft System (Campus).


PLEASE NOTE: All shortlisted candidates may be required to participate in relevant skills assessments as part of the selection process. (The successful completions of a computer literacy proficiency test is compulsory)

The annual remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbent's level of appointment, as determined by UP policy guidelines. UP subscribes to the BESTMED medical aid scheme and contributes 50% of the applicable monthly premium.
