The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate's employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Full-time, fixed-term role available immediately until 31 December 2021, with the possibility of extension, located in either Pt Augusta, Whyalla or Pt Lincoln

The Adelaide Rural Clinical School offers and supports a variety of clinical health and education programs, and promotes rural health as a career providing high quality, hands-on medical experiences in a dynamic rural setting.

Working under general direction, and located in either Pt Augusta, Whyalla or Pt Lincoln, the IT and e-Learning Support Officer is responsible for supporting information technology services and providing support to teaching, eLearning and research activities of the Adelaide Rural Clinical School (ARCS). The IT and eLearning Support Officer will also support the development, implementation and administration for online teaching, learning and assessment systems and applications.

To be successful you will need:
  • Sound experience in IT support, preferably in a higher education environment, including providing and ensuring the delivery of IT advice and support for the utilisation of video conferencing and learning management systems.
  • Experience communicating in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and taking responsibility for the efficient delivery of a range of student related IT hardware and software support and administrative functions, including prioritising and organising the delivery of challenging workloads and timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilising the full suite of Microsoft applications and student records management systems.
