Grant-Funded Researcher (A) - Optical Sensing and Materials Science

This is an opportunity for a high-achieving postdoctoral researcher to join a world-leading research group within the area of optical sensing and materials science. In this role, you will design, fabricate, modify chemically, integrate, and assess sensing tools for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The position will support our research program to improve diagnosis safety and accuracy.

To be successful you will need:

• Completion of a PhD in an appropriate field relevant to chemical engineering and advanced materials.
• High-level understanding of research methodologies, project management and communication of results, including a demonstrated track record of publications and conferences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver project outcomes.
• Sound understanding and ability to undertake research associated with anodisation, surface chemistry engineering, optical sensing, and spectroscopic techniques.
• Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
