The Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) provides support for Academic staff at the University of Southampton. The Centre is located with Southampton's Faculty of Social Sciences but serves the whole University. CHEP was created to provide comprehensive world-leading professional development for all staff and doctoral researchers at all stages of their career development across the life course.

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow or Senior Teaching Fellow in Academic Practice (Research & Enterprise) to join the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) at the University of Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher developer or an experienced researcher wishing to become a researcher developer within Higher Education to contribute to the design, development, delivery and evaluation of professional development and strategic major project activities offered by CHEP to support the realisation of the University of Southampton's Strategy. The post-holder will focus on professional development to support research and enterprise activities of staff at all stages of their career, however there will be opportunities to contribute to the support of PGR students and the wider Academic Practice remit of the Centre.

The appointment is 2 years fixed term and is available from June 2021. Funding is currently being sought to make this post permanent.

This opportunity is available at either level 4 or level 5 dependent upon the experience of the candidate. Please indicate in your application what level you are applying for.
