The GSK Consumer Healthcare R&D team supports the development of leading global brands in Consumer Health care. Analytical Sciences is a specialized discipline providing support to new product development, by developing, validating and transferring state-of-the-art robust methods and performing stability testing that enable the growth of the Consumer Health Business. Maintaining reliable reference standards is key to supporting these functions.

This role is to coordinate reference standards supply activities. The role requires documentation, data management, preparation for audits, and some analytical testing. This role requires collaboration across Analytical Sciences and with internal and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uses strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver on time supplies
  • Coordinate Reference Materials supply activities
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of LIMS systems.
  • Has knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory techniques
  • Applies technical skills and functional knowledge to projects/ assignments
  • Successfully executes established procedures with supervision
  • Properly follows appropriate documentation procedures
  • A scientific and technical colleague that interfaces with other analytical and quality team members
  • Capable of troubleshooting basic supply issues
  • Recognizes documentation issues of colleagues and works with colleague to resolve them in a timely manner


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Experience and basic knowledge of chemistry and principals of problem-solving.
  • Experience following methodology and processes
