The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate's employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Full-time, fixed-term position until December 2021

With strengths in teaching and research in cognitive psychology, health and clinical psychology, social and organisational psychology and human factors, the School of Psychology is seeking an academic staff member to join the team. Our teaching includes face to face and online offerings.

We are seeking an academic staff member who is an outstanding and innovative teacher and strong researcher from any methodological background including qualitative, or quantitative.

In this role you will coordinate and teach into both Foundations of Health and Lifespan Developmental Psychology and Internships as well as teaching into Big Picture Psychology:Global Challenges, psychological perspectives and Psychology Skills and Applications.

To be successful you will need:
  • A PhD or equivalent higher academic qualification in a relevant are.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and workshops; as well as marking and assessment activities; and a commitment to excellence in teaching in psychology.
  • Experience in course coordination and highly organised in the management of teaching and learning resources and staffing.
  • Experience in the development of innovative teaching methods and curriculum design and delivery.
  • A record of peer-reviewed publications at national and international level.
