Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching in the area of music technology and computer music?
Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience to students in a research-intensive Russell Group University?
Music technology is a core strand of activity in the School of Music, with students able to choose modules in this area at all levels of study. You will provide effective and innovative research-led teaching in the areas of computer music history, theory and practice, and use of music technology in live contexts, and contribute to existing modules in your specialist field working both independently and in collaboration with established staff. In particular, you will contribute to our two specialist courses that incorporate music technology and computer music as key areas of focus - the BSc Music, Multimedia and Electronics programme, delivered jointly with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and the MA Electronic and Computer Music taught masters course.
