The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate's employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Continuing, full time position available

The Capital Projects and Facility Management (CP&FM) portfolio is responsible for the provision of facilities management and support services across the University's property portfolio to support the University's core learning, teaching and research activities. In this context CP&FM ensures the management of mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, electrical, vertical transport, water treatment, fume cupboards, pest control, building, security, grounds, mail services, transport, fire and emergency management services, cleaning, caretaking, waste management, and car parking for staff and students.

Working under broad direction, the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and management of local service delivery and key personnel to ensure the smooth delivery of the Maintenance Plan. The position will also support operational contract management around Vertical Transportation and Asbestos Services as required.

To be successful you will need:
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in facilities management / maintenance services.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of contract management, project management and/or business administration.
  • Awareness and demonstrated experience in planned, preventative and reactive maintenance resulting in financial and asset sustainable estate management outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated operational contract management experience.
