About the Role
We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Officer to work with clinical and academic healthcare professional staff supporting the development and evaluation of Osteoporosis Refracture Prevention (ORP) Services at clinical sites in Sydney, delivered through the Medical Research Futures Funded project. The project itself brings together a team of nine Chief and twelve Associate Investigators, from four clinical and one policy unit of NSW Health, six academic institutions, and representatives from a Primary Health Network and consumer organisation.
Working closely with the Project Coordinator, Site Leads and Site Steering Group members, the ORP Project Officers will support delivery of project activities at their assigned clinical site (Prince of Wales Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital, Liverpool Hospital or Royal North Shore Hospital) and provide a degree of cross-cover across sites as required. Liaising with the Site Steering Groups, the position will play a key role in supporting development and roll-out of local implementation strategies; will recruit and collect data for the local evaluation components through audit, interviews and focus groups; will contribute to data entry, reports and publications.

- Knowledge and familiarity with the acute service healthcare environment
- Working knowledge of good clinical practice in research
- Working knowledge and experience of behaviour change/ change management processes and practice
- Ability to conduct basic descriptive statistical and qualitative analysis to inform recommendations for planning purposes
- Proven ability to work with attention to detail and limited supervision
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills and ability to manage various tasks and goals within deadlines
- An undergraduate qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education in a health-related field.
