Under supervision of Associate Director of Marketing, the Associate Marketing Manager (AMM) will set up product and market-specific plans that support the technology unit's goals. They will oversee and support all forms of customer and end-user outreach and engagement including campaign planning, book launches, and social marketing.

How you will make an impact:
  • Present products to Sales, Rights, and other internal groups.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial and authors (and their teams) for successful book launches, sustaining sales, and ongoing support.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing, Sales and Freelance Marketing Services for successful implementation of campaigns that support revenue targets.
  • Advise Editorial and Sales on market trends, competition, product positioning and marketplace opportunities.
  • Be the voice of specified community segments to key stakeholders and engage with the specified community through in-person and online activities.

We are looking for people who:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree, marketing degree preferred.
  • Have publishing experience: Marketing, Advertising, Sales, or Publicity experience. Technology experience is a plus.
  • Have experience with marketing campaign planning, goal setting, and collaboration.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate complicated subjects to non-technical audiences.
  • Can translate strategies into objectives and action plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Can influence and motivate people, both within and outside of the business unit, to take action toward achieving business unit/organization goals.
