The role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the busy and friendly Planning & BI Team. The role will support the University's strategic planning through the provision of management information and business intelligence. The role is likely to specialise in Human Resources related data and will work closely with other analysts within the team and in HR and Finance Systems.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities involve the preparation, analysis, and reporting on data from a variety of sources, but with a specialism in HR. You will liaise with stakeholders from across Professional Services and develop expertise in both data content and analytical tools. Important outputs will support key University processes, such as workforce planning packs for the Integrated Planning Process and data for the HESA staff return.

You should apply if
- You have significant experience in analysing, presenting, and reporting on data.
- You work well with people, data, and systems.
- You have an understanding of databases and a proven ability to use complex formulae in Excel.
- You are highly motivated, engaged, and able to work independently, but also a good team player.
- Previous experience of HR metrics or MyERP is desirable but not essential.
