The role

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a new Teaching Associate in Veterinary Anatomy to join the team of academic teaching staff in the School of Anatomy at the University of Bristol. The School focuses on the excellence of practical gross and applied anatomy teaching which is delivered with clinical and professional relevance.

What will you be doing?

The post holder must have the enthusiasm and ability to teach clinically-relevant anatomy for the professional Veterinary programme as well as at all levels of our Science teaching. The post holder may also contribute to anatomy teaching for the Medical and Dental programmes but the ability to teach veterinary relevant comparative anatomy is most important. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to practicals, seminars and tutorials, with a significant focus on practical topographical anatomy within the dissecting room, though you may also contribute to some online teaching. The post-holder may contribute to the delivery of external courses that are based in the dissecting room.

This is a part-time position.

You should apply if

An interest in anatomy teaching methodologies and a willingness to take a dynamic approach to teaching and blended delivery is important.
