Auditory Implant Service - Engineering and Physical Sciences Enterprise Unit

You will join a friendly multidisciplinary team making a real difference to the lives of people with severe or profound hearing loss.

Based at the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS) which provides a regional service to provide Auditory Implants for deaf adults and children - you will be a critical member of the team ensuring appropriate stock is procured and this is managed and maintained within a defined budget and that all aspects of health and safety are given priority to ensure all our patients and staff are safe. In addition, you will be developing and designing and developing policies and procedures so the need for strong IT skills particularly the use of MS Office is a must.

To be successful you will be an experienced administrator, with experience of planning and progressing work activities within broad professional guidelines. It is essential you are a team player, able to manage a range of tasks, work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a 'can-do and solution focussed approach. You will have a skill level equivalent to the achievement of NVQ4, HND or Degree or basic professional qualification in administration and/or finance.
