The role

Working as part of the Finance and HR Systems team, the primary purpose of the role is to support report users and manage the end-to-end process of delivering reporting solutions. There is also a requirement to deliver data solutions and/or fixes for issues and to manage general change and data requests raised with the Finance & HR Systems Team as part of the wider Systems Development team.

What will you be doing?
  • Designing innovative reporting solutions based on sound technical knowledge of the Unit4 BW (MyERP) application and understanding of business requirements.
  • Source, understand, interrogate and analyse internal and external data sets with a view to answering strategically important questions and building knowledge about the University and its place within the higher education sector.
  • Delivering and supporting regular reporting commitments across the University.
  • Work as part of the Systems Development team, fulfilling Systems Administration and Development tasks where required and delivering change requests as part of the Quarterly Release Cycle.


You should apply if
  • You have experience of working with Unit4 Business World (Agresso) solutions, or other full ERP, finance, HR or payroll systems.
  • You have experience of data management and reporting techniques including Business Intelligence, effective data visualisation and Management Information provision.
  • You have experience of having gathered requirements from the users, translating these into technical requirements, and delivering solutions.
