The Business School invites applications for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Finance or Business Analytics. The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a balanced teaching / research role where there is an expectation the candidate can demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality research and teach into both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, finance, international business, management and marketing, as well as a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high quality research programs at the honours, masters and PhD level.

To be successful at Level B you will need:
  • A PhD in Finance or Business Analytics or related field.
  • A commitment to excellence in teaching and ability to teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • High-level skills in coding and handling large business/ finance related databases.
  • Experience in undertaking research in Finance or Business Analytics and ability to publish in reputable journals.

In addition to the above, to be successful at Level C you will need:
  • Evidence of being able to publish in leading A* ABDC ranked journals.
  • Evidence of holding administrative roles within university.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Evidence of innovation in learning and teaching, including curriculum design.
