Following several years of success and growth, including the recent award of a prestigious CRUK Clinical Trials Unit infrastructure grant we are looking to appoint a Head of Clinical Trial Management with substantial clinical trials experience.
Can you lead a clinical trials team of trial and data managers to deliver gold standard clinical trials research?
Do you have excellent organisational and communication skills and an in-depth knowledge of the clinical trial regulatory and governance environment?
Do you want to be part of a leading Unit that has a national and international reputation for excellence in conducting complex, multi-centre clinical trials?
You will lead and manage a team of trial and data managers for a large CTRU Cancer Portfolio, ensuring international quality standards are met and the portfolio of trials are delivered to key performance milestones. You will be part of a wider team including methodologists, IT specialists and other Heads of Clinical Trial Management working together to deliver our ambitious cancer strategy and develop innovative new ways to conduct clinical trials.
You will manage projects with a high degree of autonomy but will be expected to highlight any critical issues for further discussion with the Divisional Director, Operations Director and other members of the CTRU Senior Management Group.
You will have substantial experience of clinical trial coordination/management of multi-centre clinical trials and an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks and clinical trials legislation. As you will work closely with multiple stakeholders you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to lead a team and meet project deadlines.
