The role
We are seeking multiple postdoctoral researchers to join the newly funded 'Joint UNIversities Pandemic and Epidemiological Research' (JUNIPER) modelling consortium. This is an exceptional opportunity to conduct cutting-edge and highly policy relevant modelling that will impact the ongoing response to COVID-19 at national and local scales.
What will you be doing?
The role will focus on mechanistic and data-based modelling of COVID-19 epidemiology and vaccine rollout, with a focus on policy-relevant questions. The projects sit at the interface between applied mathematics, statistics and data science.
You should apply if
You have excellent quantitate skills, have knowledge of infectious disease modelling, with an attitude for disciplinary research.
We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
