The role

The School of Anatomy is seeking to appoint a proactive individual with recent experience of learning technologies and online delivery, preferably in a higher education setting.

This is an exciting new position within a vibrant and dynamic school. It will offer the right candidate the opportunity to help shape new teaching, learning methods and technologies, support the strategic development of technology in the classroom, and online course delivery in the future.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the School Manager, and working directly with staff and students, you will contribute to projects, and provide support, expert guidance and training for a range of tools, pedagogic practices and digital capabilities. You will investigate, promote and disseminate effective digital education approaches within the school, and help to inspire and foster innovation. You will also act as archivist for school digital materials and advise on their use.

You will act as a central point of contact in helping teaching staff and students and advise on devices and software best suited to their teaching needs and practices. In parallel, you will work closely with the Faculty Technology Enhanced Learning Team and Digital Education Office to share best practice in relation to remote teaching & learning, and other digital learning and learning technologies.

You will demonstrate strong team working skills combined with the ability to work independently, and plan and prioritise effectively in order to meet deadlines.
