Reporting to the Strategic Planning Head of Intercontinental region (ICR), the role will be accountable for developing and delivering work plans for key ICR strategic initiatives and growth drivers, which include identification of project tasks, definition of milestones and responsibilities. For late clinical stage assets and new indications, the role will partner with Commercial Operations for insights generations, GCPS, Value & Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and other key functions at ICR and country level to assess and prioritize opportunities, develop filing sequences, assess resourcing needs and develop launch plans. For brands at commercial stage, the role will in addition partner closely with the ICR Execution team (GCPS and GV&A) to coordinate ICR strategy development based on global plans and specific needs of ICR countries.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support developing and assessing key pipeline assets to drive commercialisation decision making; starting from brand data analysis in close coordination with the analytics team, to determining market potential and uptake, operational model, filing strategy and local regulatory requirements, legal environment considerations, financial estimate, portfolio considerations
• Support developing launch readiness plans for our new products in ICR; Monitor progress against launch activities roadmap, identify gaps and support their resolution; Align with brand execution lead on the pre- and post-launch KPIs/Metrics to understand readiness and execution progress.
• Educate and support stronger understanding of ICR markets within Global Strategic Marketing teams and other global cross-functional teams, ensuring tailored strategies are developed for MIC and prioritisation of ICR key markets.
• Identify opportunities to develop, test and scale new innovative approaches on how to further improve patient centricity.
• Engage with local counterparts, to understand market dynamics and country-specific plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We are seeking a strategic and experienced marketing expert with:

• Relevant commercial experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Must play an active role to operationalize strategic execution with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced innovative environment while remaining agile, adaptive, proactive, resourceful and efficient
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areas
• Highly resourceful and strategic thinker with strong emotional intelligence, operational rigor and project management capabilities
• A proven track record in cross-geography collaboration and as a business partner with multiple stakeholders, directly contributing to teams to achieve overall objectives
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity, represent the company's high ethics, moral behavior, and professionalism
• Experience of working outside US country experience required
• Educated to degree level or above within life sciences or business related subject
