YOUR ROLE
- Product development of solvent and water-based heat seal coatings, primers, overprint varnishes, and other functional coatings within our packaging adhesives product development team
- Responsibility for raw material testing and approval
- Consideration of raw materials used in new formulations and approval of alternative raw materials for existing products
- Effectively manage development projects in collaboration with business development, sales, marketing, and technical customer service teams
- Occasional handling of inquiries and application technology support for functional coatings customers
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or another relevant field, e.g., as a Chemist, Chemical Engineer; alternatively, further training as a Chemical Technician or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in the field of flexible packaging and/or CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers)
- Familiarity with common coating technologies and knowledge of product requirements to apply them with different coating systems
- Network in the field of raw material manufacturers and broad knowledge of raw material classes used in the field of the mentioned coatings
- Good knowledge of English, German is an advantage
