Can you provide technical support to research projects and do you have extensive laboratory experience which includes skills in pathology, digital pathology, and bioinformatics?
The Gastrointestinal Cancer Research Group is led by Professor Phil Quirke. Prof Quirke is focused on investigations predominantly in the lower gastrointestinal tract cancer (e.g. large bowel cancer).
The group has excellent collaborative links with scientists, pathologists, oncologists and surgeons locally, nationally and internationally. The purpose of this post is to provide support for Yorkshire Cancer Research projects translational research studies. You will work under the supervision of Prof Phil Quirke and Dr Nick West within a research group comprising post-doctoral research fellows, PhD students, Clinical Fellows and research support staff involved in a range of projects related to human gastrointestinal cancer.
