Provide hands on leadership in the Strategic Procurement function to achieve the desired outcomes for the University
Reporting to the Director, Procurement Services the role will be responsible for directly managing large value and or complex procurement activities, assist the Director in planning Procurement initiatives and lead a team to identify areas of opportunity with both existing and new suppliers. The successful applicant will augment engagement with the University community in the adoption of procurement processes and enhancing relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders

- Extensive Experience in taking a lead role in procurement and project management and managing a suite of projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement processes.
- Experience at managing procurement in a complex and large organization.
- Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate committees, meetings and workshops to achieve maximum stakeholder engagement.
