HVAC Instructor - Con ED

THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: classroom and laboratory instruction, examination preparation and grading and preparing students for a rewarding career in HVAC/R.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides students with hand on training as well as textbook training as needed to succeed in the HVAC/R field
Instruct students in the techniques of HVAC/R
Ensures that all necessary documentation is kept current and delivered in a timely manner
Ensures that an accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom
Willing to prepare and update material/outlines for adult learning styles

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Associate Degree or Certification in HVAC from an accredited Institution or ten or more years of direct experience in the HVAC field.
Must be willing to obtain the National Center for Construction Education and Research Certification (NCCER)
Must be able to work 8 to 20 hours a week
Proven record of excellent computer skills
Must be able to teach day classes

PREFERRED:

National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification and teaching experience a plus
