The Mathematics, Sciences, Technologies, and Business Division (MSTB) at NOVA's Alexandria Campus has a need for a part-time instructor to teach ADJ.

The primary responsibility of a faculty member in the Virginia Community College System shall be to provide quality instruction for the students. The major emphasis shall be on good teaching by working with students in classrooms, laboratories, individual conferences, and related activities-to help the student develop their interests and abilities to their fullest capacity to become a better person, a better worker, and a better citizen. Teach courses in Administration of Justice. Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. KSA's/Required Qualifications

The candidate should have knowledge of major concepts, theories and subject matter in Administrative of Justice.

The candidate should have the skill to teach courses in Administration of Justice as well as excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.

The candidate should have the ability to relate basic principles of ADJ to students and use instructional technology.

Master's degree in Criminal Justice or related field. Preferred Qualifications
