The PACE Business Development Officer - International is responsible for the growth and development of new and existing opportunities for PACE with international clients of strategic importance.

Working under limited direction with a degree of autonomy, the Business Development Officer - International will work closely with the Global Engagement team and PACE unit to identify new international business opportunities, including assessment of feasibility and viability, to create revenue streams.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Officer - International will include market research, develop business plans, client relations (including liaising between clients and the PACE team to provide programs commensurate with client needs), the development and maintenance of sound internal and external stakeholder relations, record management and the production of evidence-based reports to inform business decisions.

Integral to the success of the Business Development Officer's role will be the requirement to build the brand presence of the both the University and the PACE unit to ensure increasing levels of global engagement and participation, on an international level.

To be successful you will need:
  • Experience identifying and tendering for international business opportunities, including undertaking market insight evaluations, developing viable and feasible business plans aligned to the University's strategy.
  • High level communication skills including verbal, written, negotiation of contracts or service level agreements, and developing business proposals.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and ability to bring proposals to fruition in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience to meet deadlines; manage competing pressures and interests; and work with a team to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Experience with CRM management, data interpretation and report generation.
