Occupational/Environmental Medicine Physician (03-309-1083)

The Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking an Occupational/Environmental Medicine physician for a faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. 

Clinical responsibilities include occupational medicine consultation services, employee health services for populations of university or affiliated workers, clinical investigation of environmental agent-exposed VA populations, and surveillance programs involving other patient cohorts.  Teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate and graduate medical school level will be combined with clinical teaching for residents.  Expected faculty rank is Assistant Professor or higher, however, rank, tenure status and salary will be dependent upon selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.  UMB was ranked 13th in ‘Forbes’ 2021 America’s Best Large Employers Survey

The successful candidate will be BC in Occupational Medicine and BC/BE in Medicine or another specialty applicable to the practice of Occupational/Environmental Medicine.  Interest in an academic career in clinical investigation or epidemiology is also sought.
