We have an exciting opportunity within our Estates and Facilities team for you to develop our quality and compliance systems to ensure that best practice is delivered across the department at all times.

Main duties include:

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with University policy and statute law by translating these into clear operational processes and communicating to Estates and Facilities staff and contractors alike.

• Providing reliable and robust operational guidance, knowledge, and advice by developing a quality system. Monitoring and reviewing University policy and statute legislation governing all aspects of our Estates and Facilities department to ensure changes are embodied.

• Ensuring ongoing checks and measures are taking place to ensure that processes, policy, and legislation are being adhered to and leading on the embodiment of improvement, action planning and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

You will know how to run and develop a quality and compliance system and be able to demonstrate extensive experience of doing this. You will hold relevant industry qualifications necessary for the role. You will be familiar with H&S legislation in the built environment and have an understanding of risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments and how to apply these to planned and reactive maintenance.
