Research programs include those related to mycobacteria, retroviruses, prions, and arthropod-borne infectious diseases, as well as the diagnostic investigation of naturally-occurring animal diseases. A leader in education, MIP provides the only microbiology undergraduate degree program in Colorado, a graduate program that provides training in a number of cutting-edge disciplines, and several specialized veterinary residency training programs. Position Summary Temporary Postdoctoral Fellow positions may become available throughout the year in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology in the area of infectious disease research. Required Job Qualifications Applicants must have a doctoral or equivalent degree in Microbiology, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Pathology, Epidemiology or closely related field at time of hire.
