San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for 15 Para-Educator I (teachers assistants). 3.8 hours per day - Brewer Island School 4 hours per day - College Park School (8:00am-12:00pm)- 2 positions 5 hours per day - College Park School (8:30am-1:30pm) 2.5 hours per day - Sunnybrae School (8:30am-11:00am) 6.5 hours per day - Bayside School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Parkside School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Meadow Heights School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Beresford School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - No Shoreview School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - LEAD School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Beach Park School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Highlands School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Laurel School (8:30am-3:30pm) 6.5 hours per day - Park School (8:30am-3:30pm) Salary: $17.65 per hour 10 paid sick days District contribution towards medical/dental (on positions 4 hours or more) Definition: Under supervision, to assist teachers in classroom operations; to assist teachers in instruction and the reinforcement of instruction of students individually and in small groups in accordance with instructions; to provide instructional record keeping support; to translate and interpret oral and written communication between parents, students and staff; and to perform related work as required.
