Job Summary:The Anderson College of Business and Computing at Regis University is currently seeking an affiliate faculty member to work within the MBA to design and teach courses in the Business and Data Analytics Specialization. MBA and Data Science colleagues will work alongside each other to develop MBA courses on Data Preparation and Data Modeling, which will lead the students into the Data Delivery course. The right candidate will be fluent in both Data and Business Analytics as well as have a business background to imagine, create, and teach a student experience that prepares students to communicate with data, inform, educate, and persuade their colleagues, and contribute to their organizations' success.
The Anderson College of Business and Computing is focused on developing our students' ability to be systems thinkers, be data-informed decision makers, focus on the common good, and learn through experiential learning. Our MBA program focuses on professionals seeking to advance their careers and start their own businesses and includes all MBA foundations and a number of specializations. For more details, see our program page. We offer our courses in both online and face-to-face as well as hybrid modalities. This fall, we launch our MBA specialization in Business and Data Analytics with a three course sequence designed to help our graduates hone the skills to identify, find, prepare, model and present data to solve business problems.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and create online courses in Data Preparation and Data Modeling including design and delivery in our WorldClass LMS (Brightspace/D2L). Working with peers in the department and college to create a cohesive student experience in the specialization. Teaching will include timely grading, evaluation and feedback and upholding academic expectations of MBA students. Participation in department meetings once per month and other MBA events as able.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Data Science or an MBA; job experience in these roles, as well as teaching experience at the graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Data Science, Business Intelligence or a related field.
Work Schedule: This position has the potential to teach two courses consistently throughout the calendar year.
Pay Rate:Between $2,500 - 3,225 per course contract
